No evidence has been found to show that any of the postal stationery sent to the UPU had any form of specimen or equivalent protection.

This also applies to postage stamps except for the Parcel and Newspaper Stamps issued by the Belgian Railways in the late-1920s that were handstamped Specimen before they were sent to the UPU for distribution.
