Member of the UPU from 1 April 1879.
No evidence has been found to show that any of the postal stationery sent to the UPU had any form of specimen or equivalent protection.
Examples of the 1891 Seebeck post cards and envelopes handstamped 'SPECIMEN.' with two short horizontal rules separated by a circle below are recorded. It is not known whether these, and other items, were sent to the UPU with this handstamp. Information and illustrations please.
